Proof Stories

2019 iMac Rebuild
2012-2019 iMacs are notoriously challenging to work on, but it’s well within my wheelhouse. Most recently a 2019 iMac, had its failing internal drives replaced with 2 new internal SSDs for faster-than-new performance and a custom backup solution.

HVAC Module Rescue
A therapy firm faced a $20,000 replacement in their office HQ after the controller failed. I salvaged the custom programming by transplanting its storage chip to a donor board, saving them $9,000 in HVAC labor.

Assistive Technology Repair
Salvaged a wheelchair lift control board after another repair attempt ripped traces off the PCB. Restored full function, preventing the family from having to buy a new vehicle.

In-wall Double Oven Revitalization
A client was told that their oven was irreparable and needed a new control board that was long out of production. I found the $17 part that was at fault and they were back in business the next day after 18 months of not knowing about my services.
